* This allows you to choose whether you get a beep when other people
connect, reconnect, or disconnect.
* If you specify someone's name, it will toggle whether you are beeped
for that person's connections, deconnections and reconnections.
* If no name is specified this toggles whether you are beeped for every
connection, deconnection and reconnection on the whole talker.
