Help on 'The Republic Editor System'

*     In order to do a number of things on Republic, such as create
      descriptions for your rooms, send mail, change your bio, and create
      conference posts, you need to be able to use Republic's editor
      system.  Fortunately, it is much like the editors on other talkers,
      so if you've used them, you're be on familiar ground

*     Anything not preceded by a "." is considered text to be
      entered into whatever you're editing.  "." is used to prefix editor
      commands (To see a list of editor commands, type "help editcomms").
