Help on 'COMMAND: block'

*     You can block various levels of communications from other players
      here on Republic.  You can use the block command to toggle each type.

*     The following block types are available:

      global    - global chat (shouts)
      ginfo     - group informative messages (group join/leave/etc)
      gchat     - group chat
      local     - room chat (says, emotes, sings, dreams, thinks)
      personal  - personal chat (tells, remotes, rs, rd, rt)
      mail      - stop someone from sending mail to you
      existence - ignore someone's existence

*     These blocks can be applied either to specific players or to everyone
      (exception being a mail block, which cannot be applied globally).

*     Most of these work both ways; if you "block mail" someone, then you
      won't be able to mail them either.  If you block someone's existence,
      they won't see you.
